Therefore instead of having the daylight shot outside I have swapped over and placed the daylight inside and the nighttime shot outside. I applied this to the images I took whilst at home but found it to be unsuccessful, as once again I live in a house in the country and there was nothing appearing through the windows, but rather just a reflection on the window. For this to be successful i had to make sure there was light on the other side of the window.

Change in Narrative and change in photo technique
Although I like the idea of a different time between the interior (nighttime) and exterior (daytime) I feel like it needs to have a stronger narrative. Simultaneously alongside this project I was working on a design project for my architecture degree. In the couple of days before it was due I was intensely working on it both at home and in studio at architecture school. It required long periods of time sitting at a computer and time seemed to pass too quickly. Often I would find that I would look up from my computer screen and time had past so much that it was now dark outside. I think that this is a good thing to portray in my series; time passing unnoticed. Often if you are inside and two busy to notice time passing, suddenly the lighting outside changes and you do not notice this change due to the concentration on what you are doing.
