New Idea: Change Of time through Window

Here is the two images put together, I think that this however is unsuccessful as it is too bright inside. What I tried to achieve was a difference between the directions of light, but I think that this is unclear. Although it does look odd and the light qualities are difference between the inside and outside, its the brightness and the colours of the inside shoot which make the external and internal images seem similar. Or, looking further into it, they do look quite different but the image inside could be a daytime image, and I think that is where the fault lies, there is just too much light.
